Software and System Support

               The Software and Systems Support department at Kuwait University, typically focuses on providing assistance and solutions related to the university's software applications and IT systems. We offer services to all faculty members, and staff through our Helpdesk and onsite support engineers.  Our team can assist you with a wide range of solutions for technology related issues such as basic computing problems, software issues and more.

Tasks and Responsibilities of the Department of Software & System Support:

 

  1. Install and operate general and specialized software related to information technology at user sites and provide means to secure and ensure their safety at the university.

  2. Implement security system procedures related to computers at the university.

  3. Conduct regular maintenance for all software installed on the devices of employees, faculty members, and computer labs at the university.

  4. Prepare labs and registration halls with the required software and update them.

  5. Provide technical support in terms of software, consultations, and inquiries for faculty members and staff at the university.

  6. Provide and install the modern software and systems required for electronic courses in coordination with relevant entities.

  7. Install software and licenses used by beneficiaries at the university as needed.
