Tasks and Responsibilities of the Department of Hardware Services:

 

  1. Installation and operation of new IT equipment and photocopiers, ensuring their security and safety within the university.

  2. Finding appropriate solutions to address any issues users may encounter with computers and their peripherals. 

  3. Implementing security measures related to computers at the university.

  4. Performing regular maintenance for all devices used by the university's employees, faculty members, and computer labs.

  5. Evaluating and upgrading the university's computers, systems, and peripherals. 

  6. Connecting computers and their peripherals across all practical faculties to the server network.

  7. Providing workshops for repairing, maintaining, and monitoring computers in various work centers within the university.

  8. Equipping laboratories and registration halls with computers and peripherals and updating them as needed.
